Sylvan Lake Theatre’s holiday hit is back by demandat Central Alberta Theatre . This wonderful musical about the power of family, redemption and the Christmas spirit is unforgettable entertainment for ages 12+. Crossing Delancey

Isabel is a modern young woman who lives alone and works in a book shop. When she is not pining after a handsome author, she is visiting her grandmother (Bubbe) in Manhattan's Lower East Side. This irascible granny and her friend the matchmaker have found a "good catch" for Isabel, whose initial reluctance gives way to a blossoming romance when she finally meets Sam, the pickle vendor, as the end of the play offers a new beginning.

Central Alberta Theatre in collaboration with Sylvan Lake Theatre and Red Deer Players is proud to announce the new Spring On Stage Play Festival . Working as a springboard for new directing talent, this exciting festival will highlight a series of plays, that will tour through various locations in Central Alberta. We are excited to be a part of this new venture, which will highlight the work of these emerging directors. More details to come!!!
